Rest of the day is leisure (no car and guide), you can enjoy relaxing with hotel facilities or exploring hotel surrounding. Lunch and dinner by guest arrangement. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Breakfast at hotel. Our car and guide will pick-up you at the hotel. Drive to Cu Chi, a suburban town one-and-a-half hours away from Ho Chi Minh City. Going down a short stretch of the tunnels to experience for a moment how the former guerrillas lived and fought during the war. You will have a lunch on the way drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. Then, the tour starts with an exploration of Saigon’s turbulent past with visits to the Reunification Palace, War Museum. The tour continues to offer you the excellent examples of the French colonial architecture with a visit (outside) to the Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House. Finally, the tour ends at Ben Thanh market, where you may practice your bargaining skills. Return to your hotel. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Breakfast at hotel. Pick-up will be from your hotel at 8:00am by your guide and driver for the day. You will then set off for the approximately 02hour drive to My Tho, a Mekong Delta town. On the way, stop to visit Vinh Trang pagoda. Mekong Delta is also known as Vietnam's 'rice basket’-- a fertile area spreading nearly 50,000 sq km. Here the mighty Mekong river ends by splitting itself into nine major tributaries. The Vietnamese name these nine tributaries “Nine Dragons.’’ Following this you will board a boat for a cruise on the Mekong river, whilst sailing you will be passing natural creeks and quiet villages and watch rural people going to work. You will see an interesting fishermen's port and the traditional stilt houses. Keep your camera handy! On arrival you will stop at Thoi Son islet in province of Tien Giang which has now become an ecotourism site. However, few people know that today’s Thoi Son is thanks to the endless efforts of local people to develop the isolated isle into one of the region’s go-to destinations. You will explore this region and its delights before returning to the cruise boat by small rowing boats through a short stretch of waterways. **Notice: Food only. Halah or Indian food is not available on tour. We will arrange local food with no pork /Veg if request). Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Another exciting adventure with Exodus

Another exciting adventure with this tour company. Our trip was at the end of April/beginning of May and it was very hot !!!! I'm told June/July is even hotter. Phew !!!!Despite this I loved every minute of it.It was a very busy trip but extremely well organised. I very much liked the additional drink stops as it was so very hot. Home made chilled lime was just the thing. I also very much liked Lam pre-booking the meals and us all going together. He found some wonderful places and we had delicious fresh food. There just isn't time to find somewhere yourself. This really worked well.We were lucky to be with a super group of people. Everyone happy and smiling and enjoying every moment..................well................except a few of the group who did get a bit sore. Please do get yourself some chamois butter and padded pants. It works a treat. It worked well having all the cycling in the beginning. The train was much better than I had expected and I slept like a log !!! Whale Island and Halong Bay were real treats and I would have loved more time there. But, overall, the trip was perfect for timing as it kept us within the 15 day Visa limit and we saw and did so much.Despite being informed in writing by the tour operator that our big holdalls/suitcase stays with us all the time......this was not the case. You do need to have a rucksack or flat pack bag big enough for the one and two night stays (Whale Island and Halong Bay). In fact......it works very well to just take small luggage. Much easier to do once you get your head around it.I found the cycling easy compared with other trips I've done but I do feel it is right to be called a Level 3. Everyone cycles slightly differently and there is always a bit of a mix of abilities........which makes for a good group cycle I think.

Excellent, probably the best yet.

This was an amazing trip. Totally fell in love with Vietnam, We did so much in such in two weeks. The cycling, somehow. only felt like a small part of the experience as there were so many other things that we did. Each day was full on, exceptionally well organised, great food, etc Been on a few cycle trips, and I think this was the best one so far.
