What will we do during the Vespa tour?

First of all, visitors will have to gather at the assembly point (Le Van Tam Park, gate side on Hai Ba Trung Street, opposite the address 239 Hai Ba Trung Street, Dakao Ward, district 1, Ho Chi Minh City). Tourists will be greeted by the tour guide and Vespa driver here from 17:45 to 18:00, we will taste the first dish: Dried beef salad (one guest with a portion of dried beef salad + one iced tea).

Nom Bo Kho – Green Papaya Salad with Dried Beef, also known as Dried Beef Salad, is also a famous dish and can show the unique characteristics of Vietnamese cuisine. It is one of the favorite street foods of many Vietnamese people as well as foreigners. You can eat Nom Bo Kho in all seasons whenever it is winter time or summer. It is a nutritious dish providing you fiber, protein, and vitamins. Anyone who comes to Vietnam must try this popular dish at least once.

And next, which is the most interesting part of this tour, we will start the travel on Vespa wheels around Saigon at night and enjoy the delicious food here. The whole group will stop for the next treat with one of the following main dishes: broken rice, chicken rice, pork vermicelli, stewed beef, Hue style beef noodle (it is up to the operation status for each eatery, and the tour guide will announce it to you in advance).

Broken rice, also known as Com Tam in Vietnamese, is a signature dish of southern Vietnam. It is consumed at almost any time of the day – breakfast, lunch, dinner or even at late night. The dish is simple, delicious, cheap for those who prefer to sit along the busy streets and not miss a single city beat from the passing traffic.

Chicken rice is one of the signature dishes of Vietnam. It features shredded chicken tossed with Vietnamese coriander, onions, and lime juice dressing. The chicken salad is then served with turmeric rice cooked directly in chicken stock. So tasty and refreshing!

Bun Thit Nuong or Vietnamese pork vermicelli is a refreshing rice noodle dish. The vermicelli is topped with a sweet and savory lemongrass grilled pork, fresh vegetables, herbs, Vietnamese egg rolls if you want, and dressed with Vietnamese dipping sauce (nước chấm).

Stewed beef or Bo Kho in Vietnamese is a delicious Vietnamese pot-roasted beef stew, fragrant with lemongrass, star anise and cinnamon. When the meat is fork tender, carrots are added to complete the dish. If you wish, include turnips or daikon radish or potatoes. Serve it with rice, rice noodles or a freshly baked baguette.

Hue style beef noodle or Bun Bo Hue in Vietnamese is  a traditional Vietnamese meal. “Bun” provides distinct and regional meals in each location, whether North, South, or Central. However, in Hue, people prefer “bun” over the other because of the style of “bun Hue.” Hue style encompasses not just exquisite, refined, and accurate food, but also the processor’s attitude. People visiting Hue in the morning or afternoon may easily reach “bun bo Hue” by going through the little streets. This thick, slick rice noodle can be found all around the country.

After enjoying one of the fantastic dishes above, we will have a chance to visit one local draught beer pub, to enjoy one of the popular hobbies of city dwellers. Each guest will be invited to a glass of draught beer accompanied by one snack. We will gossip together about stories about food and beer.

At the end of the Saigon Vespa tour, we will drop off guests at the hotel (in District 1 and District 3) at 20:30. The tour ends at 21:00. For the demand of long-lasting drinks at draught beer pubs, please return to the hotel by yourself-arranged means of transportation.
